Valentine’s Hair Ideas: Love is in the Hair ♥
Valentine’s Hair Ideas:
Need some Valentine’s hair inspiration? Make your hair say “Be Mine” this Valentine’s Day with these cute romantic hairstyle ideas. Whether you’ve got a hot date, romanic dinner with your hubby or just hanging with your girl friends, show your Valentine’s Day spirit with one of these cute looks…
Wear a heart in your hair.
Wearing a heart in your hair is one of the easiest ways to get an instant Valentine’s hair look, but there are a few different ways to achieve it. Using hair accessories is a quick and simple way to clip in some love. Check out these hot hair accessories by Janine Basil. Her retro, handmade, embroidered and glitter headpieces will spice up your look. Combined with a fiery red hair colour you’ll be sure to get his attention. ( www.janinebasil.com)
Or perhaps you more of a soft romanic type? Try out this unique whimsical look created by Elbie Van Eeden on Kat Williams from www.rocknrollbride.com. She used a heart shaped hair donut (€8) to create this super sweet style. Kat says; “It’s also really easy to use. You pull your hair into a ponytail, hold the heart shaped donut in place, and pin your hair around it. OK so there’s no way in hell I’d be able to do this on myself, but with the help of a friend, you could totally rock this look too!”
Feeling brave? Why not go for a clipper art heart hair tattoo. This looks great in a side shave panel or under cut. Don’t for get to add some colour to finish off the Valentine’s hair look.
Colour your hair to match each other.
This is kinda cheesy, but also very adorable. If you both share a love for bright hair colours why not colour to match? You could set a hair dye date and do each others, it’s certainly one way to get your hands running through each others hair 😉

Colour your hair red.
Red is the iconic colour for Valentines. It’s the colour of fiery passionate love, seduction, danger, sex appeal, strong will, female empowerment, confidence and adventure. Red captures attention. Think Jessica Rabbit. In Russia, the word for “red” means beautiful. It is also an auspicious colour for marriage. Brides in India and Nepal wear red saris; in Japan, a red kimono symbolises happiness and good fortune. This rich crimson shade is a perfect way to show your Valentine’s Day spirit.

Say it with words.
If you want something that really pops and makes a statement, why not say it with words? Once again the lovely Kat Williams is rocking these LOVE bobbie pins (£5.00) and LOVE hair band (£20.00) from www.crownandglory.co.uk. If you looking for even more beautiful Valentines hair accessory’s check out their gift box packed with hair goodies that will whisked you off your feet!
Wear flowers in your hair.
Nothing says “I’m a romantic” like a roses in your hair. You can pick up a cute garland head band (£5.50) from Claires, or for something at bit more dainty try a paper rose cluster headwrap (£6.00). Or if you have a bit more cash to burn check out the stunning floral head ware from www.crownandglory.co.uk. My favourite is the Rococo Headband in Berry (£20.00) with a beautiful silk rose bloom in deep wine. Alternatively if your man gives you a beautiful bouquet, why not pluck a flower from it wear that in your hair for the day? Then you’ll have a sweet rose scent in your hair to remind you of him. Just remember to trim the thorns off first!
