Joico’s Crystallize Collection: 3 New Shades

In January Joico launched three new brilliant gemstone-inspired shades to it’s Vero K-PAK Colour Intensity range.

With the popularity of their vibrant hair colour collection, notably used to dye all the wigs and hair pieces in ‘The Hunger Games’ films, Joico has now expanded it’s Vero K-PAK Colour Intensity collection. Announcing three NEW, deep jewel-toned shades for you to fall deeply in love with: Ruby Red, Amethyst Purple, and Sapphire Blue.

Launched in January 2015, these newest additions to this popular collection of long-lasting, semi-permanent shades offer concentrated, vibrant pigment just perfect for creating endless possible looks. The now fifteen-shade strong line-up for you to create rich hair colour with, is comprised of: Indigo, Pink, Red, Peacock Green, Cobalt Blue, Orange, Yellow, Magenta, Orchid, Light Purple, Titanium, Clear Mixer, and the 3 latest opulent shades – Ruby Red, Amethyst Purple, and Sapphire Blue.

“These three shades have depth and intense hues, and they can also be mixed with all of the Intensity shades and clear gloss to make them a lighter level.” – Sue Pemberton

Perfectly on trend for Spring 2015, these colours will elevate that mauve, “perfect plum” or bold red lips trends in makeup. You can also match the romantic mood or add to the drama of “Inky Black Eyes” or use of blackest-black liner. Braids will still be hot, but you can make a graphic statement from a very natural style with your strands in these jewel-toned shades.

CRYSTAL LIGHT STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL USING THE NEW COLOURS:

As Artistic Director for Joico Vero K-PAK Color and seven-time nominee and two-time winner of NAHA in the colour category, Sue Pemberton shares her latest step-by-steps on colouring with “Intensity”. Including her formula and application technique for her “Crystal Light” technique using the new Ruby Red, Amethyst Purple, and Sapphire Blue.

Even more on trend is the ability, with these shades to create Pantone’s recently announced 2015 Colour of the Year: Marsala.

Sue Pemberton, the driving force behind the Intensity shades, talks about the new colours: “The new Crystallize Collection of Sapphire Blue, Ruby Red and Amethyst Purple are a great addition to the existing Color Intensity line. These three shades have depth and intense hues, and they can also be mixed with all of the Intensity shades and clear gloss to make them a lighter level. And what’s even more perfect is that the new Sapphire Blue and Ruby Red, along with the existing Orange shade can be mixed to create the new Pantone color-of-the-year, Marsala!”
